Penalty Shot Advice
You see it more often than not in youth hockey games -- the super slow approach on a penalty shot.
And here's the thing... a slow approach just showcases indecision and gives the goaltender the advantage.
Now, I get it -- it looks pretty sweet when you deke the goalie all the way out of the crease...while barely moving.
Highlight reel stuff, right there.
But you look really silly when the goalie stops you.
Just skate in confidently, like it's a breakaway, full speed, make a move, and bury it.
No hesitation.
Goalies hate that.
Cause the shot goes in most of the time.
Well, except that one time...
